The Autism Consortium 2014 Research Symposium will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School, 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston, MA.

From 8:00 – 9:00, there will be a Family Resource and Research Fair featuring local autism programs, as well as an opportunity to talk with research teams on current research projects of interest to families.

The morning sessions will begin at 9:00am. Plenary talks will be given by Matthew State, M.D., Ph.D., who will offer an update on the Genetics of Autism and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Rudolf Jaenisch, M.D. on iPS Cell Technology and Autism Research, and Sarah Spence, M.D., Ph.D., who will discuss Autism and Epilepsy. A panel will follow on Enhancing Clinical Care with Critical Resources.

During the lunch hour, the Resource and Research Fair will continue and a Poster Session will highlight important new research in progress.

The afternoon will include a panel on Challenges and Rewards of Translational Research in Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
