A brief synopsis of the talk: The SAT is undergoing a significant overhaul in March of 2016. This seminar will take a close look at these changes, and the College Board's rationale behind them. We will examine the structure, format and scoring of the redesigned test. We will also look more closely at sample questions from the math, reading and writing sections.
Lastly, we will discuss the different standardized testing options (ACT vs. current SAT vs. redesigned SAT) for the class of 2017, in order to help families make informed decisions and reduce anxiety as they begin to develop their standardized testing plan.
